Headlight Protection What is paint protection film?
Paint Protection Film is a transparent polyurethane film cut with pre-engineered designs to fit your car. The film is applied to the vulnerable areas of your car.

Why should I have paint protection film applied to my vehicle?
It is a great way to protect one of your largest investments. It makes sense to protect your investment from unsightly rock chips and broken headlight lenses. By installing paint protection film on your vehicle it will increase your cars value when you go to sell it or trade it in.

What does it do?
Paint Protection Film is a resilient polyurethane coating applied to the leading edges of your car to protect the paint and headlights. It provides a high level of protection from stone chips, surface abrasion, environmental damages and insects.

What areas of the car are typically covered?
The hood, upper bumper, lower bumper, fenders, wheel wells, door cups, door edges, rocker panels, mirrors, window pillars, and head lights.

Can I get my entire car covered?
Yes, we can cover approximately 98% of most cars. Covering this much of the car can take up to 4 business days.

Will the installers use a razor to cut the film on my car?
No, by using these pre-engineered designs, none our installers will ever need a razor to cut on your paint to make a kit fit your vehicle. There are installers in the industry that only use bulk film or lower quality kits and then trim and cut the film on your vehicles paint with razors. This will not happen at Premier Paint Protection.

How long does the installation take?
The installation time will vary depending on the type of vehicle and the amount of coverage. The average install will range from four to six hours.

Will it damage my car?
No, it will not damage your car in any way if it is installed by a trained installer. It has been specially designed to ensure no differential fading will take place.

Can it be removed?
Yes, a factory trained technician will be able to remove the film and leave no residue on the paint. If you would need to remove the film for any reason please contact us for assistance.

Do we have to order the Kits from another company?
No, we have the software program with all the up to date pre-engineered kits ready to be cut with our state of the art Graphtec 64" plotter.
